A day stroll around Taipei with Angeline
My longest bestfriend, 20 years friendship, was just coming to Taipei. She has been chosen as one of Indonesia Finswimming National Team for 15th Finswimming Asian Championship delegation. She wasn't expected that this year venue is in Taipei, me neither. However as soon as she heard that the venue chosen for this year is Taipei, She immediately contacted me and told me that she will fly to Taipei. soon. So, here she is in Taipei. Manseeeeeee 👩❤️👩👩❤️👩
As soon as she was arrived in Taipei, she line chat me "lets meet up" bahahaha. But, I visited her hotel at her second day, "Sorry Line I couldn't come for your first day as I have overtime also in office". After a whole week full with her championship schedule, finally she has an empty schedule, her last day in Taipei. So I decided to be her best tour guide that day 2015/11/08, well not the best actually. I was late 30mins to pick her up at her hotel. But hey, please pardon me. Her hotel is in Tianmu, Mellow Fields Hotel to be exact. Dang, Tianmu is like more than 1hour away from my house in Zhongxiao Fuxing by bus. The bus stop even located at one before the last stop! However, right after I picked her up, we directly go to National Palace Museum.
National Palace Museum is a must, IMO, for a tourists. People can learn Taiwan history briefly. I personally love this museum architectural design. We took a photo together at some spot.

After we gladly finish our National Museum tour, Angeline asked to have lunch first. Can't blame her, athletes metabolism seems just as fast as Shinkansen. It wasn't even 12.00 pm yet. She want to try modern toilet restaurant due to its unique concept. I was the one who suggested this restaurant to her since I know she likes to visit a theme restaurant. She looked so happy and excited with this restaurant and able to capt a lot of photos.

After a full tummy, we were heading to Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall, another must go list in Taipei. Chiang Kai Shek is the former president of Republic of China (a.k.a Taiwan).

This cafe maybe small, but it looks warm from outside and with a big window display I can see through inside the cafe. I even can see the chef making a dough from the outside window display. Make me wonder "what is he making?" The cafe soft tone color gives me a warm feeling even from outside. I imagined I will be able to spent 1-2hours inside only by myself when I passed by this cafe.

The cakes in display and pantries also attractive. The main menu are cakes and beverages, like a common cafe offered to. I decided to try their framboise cake and chocolate soufflé. I gave 10 out 10 for the framboise cake. It is similar as delicious as macaroni but isn't too sweet as macaroni, what make it better in my opinion.
I ordered the framboise one, each 45NT. It was so delicious. It is so tasty and addictive. One isn't enough. But 45 NTD/each a little bit expensive IMO for that size

What I ordered last time was Franboise Cake, chocolate souffle and Caramel Macchiato. The franboise cake is the best one. It is as delicious as macaroni but isn't too sweet like Macaroni. One isn't enough, I guess the others taste is also delicious like this franboise one. As for macchiato, I think TJB and Starbuck have a better caramel macchiato one at least for me.

Cafe and Bakery in Taipei. Le Pain Fou

Maybe I am one of the regular customers of this café. I visit this café like once until twice a week. There is a special circumstance why I visit this café that often. These three months I need to do teeth treatments one until two times a week. I had a dental fillings which broken due to a gum. Damn, you gum. I was so puzzled when my dental fillings fall out in the middle of chewing a gum three months ago. I don’t even know that dental fillings are that weak. I mean, how come only chewing a gum can break it? It was so OK so far even I eat and chew a lot of meats as a Carnivore girl. So I asked my friend to recommend me a good dental clinic. My friend’s recommendation was “Seattle Dental Clinic”, I will post more about this clinic.
I recommended this clinic also if you happen need a good dentist in Taipei.
The doctor found out that the teeth hole is too big and I need to do a root canal treatment also. In short story, I need to visit the clinic 1-2 times a week between Tuesdays until Friday. Gasp, the only thing I thought being told like that was only “oh my, so lazy”. Hahah, I felt lazy if I need to visit a dentist once a week. I don’t even go shopping once to twice a week nowadays, but dentist? Sigh. The appointments are always at 6.30 or 7 pm while my office hour is end at 5.30 and the clinic is only 10 minutes away from my office by bus. I have 50 minutes spare time. The bus stop nearby of this dental is Technology Building MRT station. Right in front of this bus stop, there it is “Le Pain Fou” cake and bakery. Hoh hoh. With my mind was wandering thinking “what should I do to kill this 50 minutes” in my bus, my feet walked by itself to enter the café at the moment I saw this café just right after I took of from my bus. Right in front of the bus stops No.74 “Technology Building Station” for Direction to Gongguan.
Favorit Spot
First reason I really like this café, it catches my eyes with its simplicity yet attractive design. The café is small, but they have comfy tables to do works, enjoy afternoon time, or just only for chit chatting with friend. First time visited, I observed around what this café and bakery offered to. Then, the second reason has been found also. I saw my “most favorite cookies, Almonds Biscotti”. It kinda hard to find these cookies here in Taipei, and in my opinion it is also a little expensive. I spotted a good seat and ordered my cheese cake and milk tea.

Their cheese cake is so good, soft and delicious, almost similar with the New York cheese cake of Starbuck. The milk tea is just like a regular milk tea, nothing special. I haven’t tried their breads, I am not a bread fans anyway. I didn’t even bother to take a peek lol sorry bread. I still managed to take a picture the pastries and breads display anyway, just want to upload it only.
The system here quite unique, take your order and pay first then they will delivery your order to your table. Commonly, we pay later after finish our meal right, but here in Taipei some cafes use "pay first" system.
Always buy two box of "Almond Biscotti" for take home. I enjoy my cookies while watching my favorit Korean Drama.

Best Honey toast in Taipei, Perfume Dance cafe
My best recommendation for honey toast is the one by Perfume dance cafe. Luckily, Perfume dance cafe opens several branches spreading over in Taipei area, so you can choose whichever the nearest cafe from your location.
My recommendation, Strawberry toast

Shopping district : Zhongxiao Dunhua Taipei
One of favorite shopping district in Taipei : Zhongxiao Dunhua. This area fulfilled with shopping stores all around the alleys. The shopper can choose so many stores or just go inside all of them one by one along the streets. The famous Taipei local brands such as Queen shop, Air Space, etc are also available there. And for the cafe lovers and shopaholic like me, Dunhua is the best place to choose when I want to go shopping here in Taipei. It has so many choices cafe also all along the streets or surroundings such as TJB cafe, Coffee Alley, Paddington Garden, Barbie cafe, Perfume dance cafe and many more.
Whoever said money can't buy happiness simply didn't know where to go shopping

Calla Lily flowers blooming time
We, me and Nicky (my partner in crime in Taipei), visited Calla Lily flower farms in Yangmingshan today. We got news that the flowers will bloom today. Calla lily surely a beautiful flowers which reminds me of a purity because of its white color.
The white calla lily is a popular choice for wedding ceremonies and receptions because of its symbolism of purity and virginity. The shape of the flower can be compared to a woman's reproductive organs, pointing to the significance of marital consummation. The flower is meant to stir feelings of devotion and heavenly bliss as the couple begins a new chapter in life.~google up some meaning of Calla Lily because I was curious about the meaning of this flower. and yeah, I am quite right with its meaning, purity.

A fresh flowers are definitely more beautiful than a well-displayed flower by florists.
Today I decided my OOTD playing style are combining the white and green colors as we were visiting this Calla Lily farm.

Do you know what is the best thing in Taiwan? you can be in the middle of city at the moment and then in the middle of mountain hour later. Taiwan has the best transportation system and public access. I proud of you, Taiwan.
How to get to Yangmingshan mountain. 陽明山
Take bus No. 260, 1717 or R5 from Jiantan MRT station direction Yangmingshan bus station. The buses will depart every 15-20 minutes each from this station. Or you also can take bus No. 681 from Xihu station. The problem is this 681 bus only depart for every hour.
How to get to Calla Lily Farm 竹子湖 from Yangmingshan bus station (陽明山車站）
Take bus No. 108 from Yangmingshan bus station direct to 竹子湖 （zhuzihu) bus stop.
