Venice. September 7 2014

I celebrated my 27th birthday in Venice, Italy. I always dream to be able visit this city before. Their famous canals and gondola, plus the romantic feel of the city surrounding. Who doesn't want to have a chance visit Venice? We were maybe watched a lot of movies took Venice as their settings, for examples are Casino Royale 007 series, Lara Croft : Tomb Raider, Casanova, etc. The canals, alleyways and unusual architectural buildings enough to make me have a big desire to travel there. So, we decided to put Venice as one of the city in our prewedding trip route in Europe last September. Actually our prewedding trip was start from 30 August to 17 September 2014. My birthday date is within that date also. Because of the reasons mentioned before, I picked up Venice as my birthday celebration venue. And hey, George Clooney even chosed Venice as his wedding venue. So it wasn't a bad choice right?

How cute it is. The dog also enjoyed the boat ride. This boat also called as water taxi. You can choose either this boat or gondola to trip around the canals.

We came at the fall season in Italy, however It has a spring vibe, right?

My list for must see in Venice :

1. Piazza San Marco or St. Mark Square

At the eastern end of the Piazza San Marco, it is connected to the Doge's Palace 

St. Mark Square ~ and me being a lady bird. 

2. Doge's Palace and Sigh of Bridge

Doge Palace is a palace built in Gothic style and one of the main landmark in Venice, the function of this building is as the residence of the Doge of Venice, the supreme authority of the Republic of Venice. The bridge of sigh used to serve as a link between the old and new prisons in the Doge's Palace. It is being named as Bridge of Sigh because the legend says that from this bridge, you can hear the sighs of the prisoners as they were being led to prison.

3. The Rialto Bridge

The oldest bridge across the Venetian canal, dividing the district of San Marco and San Polo

When we were in Venice, luckily they held a festival gondola race there. Maybe Venice want to give me a birthday party. hahah..

My bridesmaids surely the prettiest bridesmaids a bride can wish for. We have been friends for more than three years. We met in Taipei and getting close to each others since then. There are not many Indonesian working in Taipei, that is why we always spent our times together, only me and them, every single weekend simply just for have lunch or dinner, shopping, hiking or traveling. We bounded a deep relationship, more than bestfriend or a little less than siblings.

A moment before my wedding ceremonial started. My bridesmaids and Tania-Tasya (my flower girls) were getting ready as well 

I felt so nervous that time, with my girls and my husband to be at that time beside me I got a new strength and realized I waited this day for come, I need to gather my nerves. 

This is one of my remembrance day because all of my bestfriends made me a bridal shower party to celebrate my last day as a single woman. Paulin, July, Vivian together with all my bridesmaids., Delfia, Dian and Jessica decided to make a surprise party for me. Yes, at the first time they made a plan to surprise me, they didn't tell me the party plan beforehand. However, Dian accidentally told me about this hidden secret, made me so surprised and grateful to have them at the same time. They do love me, as much as I love them too.

With knowing their plans about my bridal shower party, I well prepared everything from my dress, make up and of course hair do. I want to take and save a lot of the party photos with them, my precious girls.

The day. They used "Mademoiselle Decoration" to help them decor the party setting. Travel theme bridal shower. So cute and loveable decoration. Love it to the max.

I sincerely thank to Mademoiselle decoration and especially to all my bestfriends. I couldn't stop to feel grateful to Him for giving me them beside me all the times.

All team with Vivian and July finally came join us. July came from Palembang to Surabaya, while Vivi and Dian came from Jakarta. Delfia came from Makassar. and last Jessica came from Jogjakarta. They came to Surabaya to make me this bridal shower party and attend my wedding day the day after. This is how deep our friendship is. No matter how far we are separated now, we will still fly over for every single important moments for each person.

At the last, I wasn't ready that they will really make a fun and jokes of me. Lol, okayh guys I let you all did this only for that day. Well, not every woman has a chance to celebrate their last day as a single woman with their closest friends right?

The photo talks a lot, they sure had a lot of fun, while me couldn't say and do anything at all. 

Guess where we took our prewedding photos? It is in Paris, France! and some other countries in europe such as Netherland, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Belgium, Luxembourg and also Republic of Czech. I will share every countries and its own stories per post, lets start with Paris, France first.

We chosed Paris as our main city for our prewedding photoshoot. So many friends asked me this questions before "why Paris, It is already so common now. So many people did their prewedding photoshoot their" Then I asked them back "which people? how many people of your friends beside us took their prewedding photosession there?" I am not sure it will be as many as they think for "too common". The image of this commonly is because Paris famous as a Love and romantic city. A lover city. It even famous as the original of french kiss. This image brought so many people to come here with their lover. But it doesn't mean all this people did their prewedding photoshoot here as well. Why Eiffel is still so famous around the traveler if there are so many taller building compare to eiffel right now? Because its romantic image. That is why we want to do our photoshoot here in Paris, France because we want to do it as romantic as we can. 

We used 法國巴黎 bridal, a bridal for prewedding and wedding gown by order. We chosed this bridal in Taipei because It provided us a pronovias wedding gowns for my photoshoot, a complete team as well for my abroad photoshoot including Hongkong based photographer, Taiwan MUA and even photographer assistant. All of them wrapped up in a special package price, and I didn't even need to afford my team flight and accommodation. They have 30couples in their schedule, one couple each day. This is the reason we didn't need to pay their accommodation anymore. They gathered their own accommodation fund from the profits of this 30couples. 

However, at the moment I arrived to Paris, both of us decided to just directly go to Eiffel tower. It was my childhood dream to be able to see this tower. The reason for this was "Eiffel I'm in Love" Indonesian movie. I watched this movie like three times in the Indonesia theatre back then. This movie gave a little children a hope and dream. Then, there I am stared at the tower, and scream "woaaaaahhhh" yes, I did scream at that moment. My dream come true. Finally, I can see Eiffel. So thank you God, for the chance and unlimited blessing for me.
